Who We Are
Gentle Turner & Sexton is a full service law firm founded by Ed Gentle in 1992. In addition to eight attorneys, the Firm has three accountants.
The Firm has particular strengths in taxation advice, accounting, financial and business support, civil litigation, and administering court Class Action settlements. Moreover, Gentle Turner & Sexton is one of Alabama’s few specialists in telecommunications law.
In addition to our areas of civil practice, the Firm has considerable experience in drafting legislation and advising governmental entities—including the Governor of Alabama, the State of Alabama Legislature, and the Alabama Department of Revenue.
Gentle Turner & Sexton also offers comprehensive case settlement support as an Escrow Agent for Multi-District Litigation—offering services ranging from income tax and investment planning to global settlement management and claims payment and administration.
Raising Your Expectations
There’s a reason why people think legal services are expensive: They are. Too many firms forget that. We haven’t. Which is why we make it our goal with every client, every case and every assignment to deliver absolute value—above and beyond the cost.
It starts with an absolute commitment to serving your needs—particularly when you aren’t entirely sure what those needs are.
Don’t just expect more from your investment in legal counsel. Get more than you expect.
Because You're a Client...Not a File Number
At Gentle Turner & Sexton, every lawyer-client relationship starts the same way: Person-to-person. No matter how big or small the case, the deal, or the issue, our practice is ultimately about the people we serve. It always will be.
The way we see it, a firm is best judged by the quality of its practice—not the size—and a quality practice starts with quality relationships. If you have to think twice before calling us with any question or concern—no matter how small it may seem at the time—then we haven’t done our most important job: Earn your trust.
Looking for a firm that can turn on a dime when you need it; or maybe just one that makes a habit of returning your calls? We’d like to meet you. Person-to-person.
No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed
is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.
